Terms of Service
1. Service
Merkdex ("we", "us") provides a product resolution API at merkdex.com. By using the API or registering an account you agree to these terms.
2. Acceptable use
- Use the API for lawful purposes only.
- Do not resell or redistribute raw API responses without written permission.
- Rate limits apply per plan. Exceeding them results in throttling or suspension.
- API keys are personal — do not share them.
3. Data
Product data is aggregated from public sources and affiliate feeds. We make no warranty of completeness, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. Prices and availability change continuously — always verify before presenting to end users.
4. Billing
Free tier requires registration. Paid plans are billed monthly. Cancellation takes effect at end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial months.
5. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or cause harm to the service, without prior notice.
6. Liability
The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Merkdex is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the API.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified by email.
